Thanksgiving 2014

Eliana had a super cute little program at her school just before Thanksgiving. We got to come in and listen to her sing and eat a little feast.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Blalocks this year. Usually we see my family, too, but this year a lot of them were in Colombia. The kids had fun playing with their cousins.

I made Diego dairy free cornbread, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and stuffing. Grandma made Diego-friendly bread and turkey and Tia Michelle made the green beans. He was a happy boy!

Halloween and the Plague

Halloween was kind of a bummer this year because we were all sick. Eliana was getting over pneumonia, Mila had pneumonia, and the boys and I got bronchitis, all within a 3 week span. On Halloween, Mila was too sick to dress up or go trick or treating. So I never even finished her costume. Celo was a ninja, Diego was a goalie, and Eliana was Princess Jasmine (a last minute decision after she had planned to be Elsa for months. So glad she changed her mind!).

The three older kids got to go to the trunk or treat for a bit.

Did the bat and rat decorating that the kids love.

And here are some of the pictures from our family plague. Posted these on instagram.

Stinks to be the sick mom when you have to take your sicker kids to the doctor.

X-rays at the hospital. Did this twice for the girls and once for Diego.
